For this week’s inspiration post, I’m going to lift the hood and show you what I’ve been dreaming about for the bathroom we’re remodeling:
Is this not drool-worthy?? Houzz is the best resource for finding house inspiration. I LOVE the yellow and green combo first of all. But what really drew my eye to this was the piece of furniture turned into a sink. I love it! I love the vessel sink and cool faucet on top. I also love the white paneling, which turns the room from potentially shabby to very crisp. The sconces on either side of the mirror are just perfect– honestly I just love it.
That’s my number one bathroom sink look but here are some others I’m looking to for inspiration right now:
The above photo is from Pinterest (from this awesome blog: http://lifeofsplendor.com) and I think the antique dry sink basin is SO cool. Also love the vessel sink and sweet faucet combo. I love all the character that these sinks add to the bathroom!
The above one, also from Pinterest, just seems welcoming. (How can a sink even appear welcoming?? I think I’m losing my mind…) I love the two faucets, the warm walls, and the white on the bottom half of the wall. Seems to be another trend. Plus the vintage look is just so perfect for a country bathroom in my opinion.
The final pic (above) from just simple Google images is so. freaking. creative. Who would’ve thought a desk/ dining table would make a good double sink? The beadboard really sets off the dark wood– just gorgeous combination. This is another example of the vessel sink, which I’m realizing might have to make an appearance in our bathroom because I really just love it…
What do you think? Any suggestions for renovating a bathroom? We’ve never done this before so any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!
