A Farmhouse Reborn:
Bringing New Life to a Historic Home
About me
Hello, I’m Lynne, a farmhouse enthusiast from Virginia.

Growing up in Virginia, I always loved the aesthetic of historic homes, beginning with my grandparents’ 1792 brick farmhouse in the Shenandoah Valley.
Neither my husband, David, or myself had any experience with a fixer-upper but we jumped in with the confidence only two kids in their mid-twenties would have. I had gotten great joy out of renovating our 1850 farmhouse over the years, which has been featured in two HGTV “House Hunter” episodes as well as: Women’s Day, Good Housekeeping, Country Living, Remodelaholic and more.
Starting in 2021, I decided to return to blogging to share inspiration and ideas from my farmhouse but also bask in the beauty of other historic Virginia homes with my readers. I’m so grateful to share this snippet of my surroundings on this site and hope you find some joy from it, too!
